Mothers Day Gifts with Meaning

With Mothers Day creeping up on us and our hinting time running short, here are my top picks for Mothers Day jewels that are extra spesh! I find jewellery is one of those things that I wouldn’t think to buy for myself but if you can’t treat yourself (or hint like mad) on Mothers Day, then when can ya, hey?

Hand Engraving by Merci Maman

If you are looking for a piece of personalised jewellery, it’s hard not to find something that you love on the Merci Maman website. They have a huge range of jewellery options available, from personalised earrings and bracelets to initial rings and necklaces. Every gift is personalised and hand-engraved using cursive French-style handwriting, making the gift-giving and receiving experience extra special. My favourite pieces include their Signature Disc Necklace and the Initial Pastille Sautoir, which makes the perfect layering piece.

Birthstone Neckklaces by RJ Jackson

These pendants come in sterling silver or 22 carat gold plated sterling silver and are filled with the birthstones of your choice. Choose up to four stones, for you, your children or your loved ones. Once sealed, the pendant is locked for good and can not be re-opened.  A unique alternative to names and initials and something to treasure forever!

MAMA chain from Cult of Youth

My MAMA chain was the first thing I treated myself to after becoming a mum. I adore everything that Kelly makes and this is one of the things that I am asked the most about on my Instagram. Wearing this chain makes me feel proud to be called Mama and I know treasure it forever! Choose from sterling silver or gold plated.

Lockets by Cult of Youth

These Lockets are totally stunning and have been firmly on my wish list for a while. If you follow Kelly on Instagram, you’ll know that she has a real way with words and these lockets, engraved with her writing are just amazing. I’m loving the Darling one and the I F*cking Love You one. Definitely my top pick!

T Bar necklace by Tilly Sveaass

Another firm favourite of  mine, the T- Bar. I received this necklace for my birthday last September and have since bought another one on a heavier chain for my husband, as he kept on stealing mine! This necklace looks great with alongside longer chains, it’s the perfect layering piece and looks really cool with dresses and tee’s!

Fingerprint Necklace by Phillipa Herbet

These charms are available in solid gold, which means that you can wear them to death without worrying about it getting ruined. I’m always nervous about taking jewellery off  and misplacing it as I’m an expert at losing things so something you can keep on forever really appeals to me. Obviously, this means it comes with a higher price tag but if you’re due a special treat, this could be the one for you! These charms are engraved with your child or loved one’s fingerprint and can be worn on necklace chains or charm bracelets.  Choose from different size and shaped charms, I’m loving this octagonal one!

Bee Disk Necklace by Olivia Burton

Olivia Burton has only recently been on my radar after I attended an event at their Covent Garden store recently. I loved finding more about the brand, which was set up by two friends (and mums) who loved fashion and accessories and are really serious about creating an environmentally conscious brand. This Disk necklace features their signature 3D bee motif on a textured disc and would make a lovely gift to remind someone of their little bumblebee!

Will you be hinting for anything this Mothers Day? I think you should, you deserve it!
